MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM

Oh my days! I am beyond excited that so many amazing creatives have collaborated with me on this project. We are all so passionate about our chosen crafts and can't wait to share that love with you all at the end of this month.

Please read through their profiles, follow their links and support their creative businesses - just as they have kindly stepped up to support mine.

We look forward to crafting with you soon... Zoe x

OODLES OF CRAFT

I do what I love and I love what I do!

Teaching is all I've ever wanted to do. After fourteen years of primary school teaching, I left to set up Oodles of Craft, so that I could share my love of making and creating too. It has been a crazy, but fun process that continues to make me smile.

Each week is a flurry of creating projects for my sewing classes, liaising with clients about party bookings, freelancing for Cricut UK, creating social media posts and juggling the dream while trying to maintain an adequate level of parenting to my three creative souls!

Organising this week for you all has been epic and I hope you love it as much as I intend to!

Following the birth of my daughters, I was given the opportunity to reevaluate life and Treasure Kave was born in November 2019. I believe in designing beautiful, quality, fun and sustainable gifts that will be treasured for years to come. To ‘sow’ my love of embroidery, I have a growing range of embroidery kits that are designed to be fun and accessible for all abilities.

I’m really excited to share my love of colour and stitching with you.

CRAFT MY DAY

Hi! Let me introduce myself, Rachel, the founder of Craft My Day!

Many of my students have told me I have their dream job and I wholeheartedly agree - I have my dream job too! Sharing the love of craft and helping our local community is at the heart of what we do.

I am so proud to run Craft My Day. I am proud that we get such amazing feedback, that we have inspired so many and that we have created a space that is welcoming, inclusive and supportive to all ages and abilities.

I say ‘we’ because I have a growing, amazing team of local artists and creatives, that all hold similar beliefs and who are a joy to work with. I couldn’t do it without them.

This last year has definitely been tough but it has also shown how important craft is, for mindfulness, to combat isolation, to grow confidence or to just take some time out from our busy lives – the elusive ‘me’ time!
